With Avengers: Infinity War set to premiere in Los Angeles on April 23, Marvel is in the midst of one last promotional push. To keep its movie in the public eye and to continue to build up the hype, the company recently dropped a Spanish-language TV spot and hid free tickets to screenings behind posters in Australia.
The TV spot features a mixture of new and previously seen footage, the highlight being Spiderman’s foot-to-face takedown of Thanos towards the end of the 30-second clip.
In addition, a few lucky fans found special prizes hidden behind movie posters in Australia thanks to the guerrilla marketing efforts of Marvel’s Australian advertising branch. These prizes ranged from a double pass for a special advance IMAX screening to free tickets for in-season showings.
