Prepare to witness the Dark Knight live you've never seen him before, as he travels to Japan in new feature-length animated film, Batman Ninja. Here, we get our first look at the upcoming anime, not only starring Batman but also his closest friends and most dangerous foes.

Batman is forced to journey overseas as Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine has transported his worst enemies to The Land of the Rising Sun. There, with the help of a select number of his allies, the Dark Knight must rely on his intellect as his familiar high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately.

Anime standouts Jumpei Mizusaki, Kazuki Nakashima, and Takashi Okazaki have come together to create the original picture for Warner Bros. Japan. You can look forward to Batman Ninja arriving on digital April 24.

In related news, a new Grinch movie is coming to theaters this year.
