Are you ready to feel old? Yung Lean's cult hit "Kyoto" dropped ten years ago. I know, a whole decade. Since then, the Swedish rapper, singer, and songwriter has gone on to have an illustrious career, and yet somehow has remained low-key. Now, he's back in the spotlight, fronting a new capsule collection from CHIMI and Koenigsegg.

It's always a hoot when you stumble across information that puts how much time has passed you by into perspective. Honestly, I'm stunned that "Kyoto" dropped ten years ago. It's surprising not only because it highlights how much Yung Lean's sound helped shift the sonic landscape of the time but also shows the drastic stylistic shifts we've seen in hip-hop in the past decade.

While CHIMI and Koenigsegg are certainly shining the spotlight on Yung Lean, the Swedish artist hasn't been a complete mystery over the years, with several projects, a 2023 Skrillex feature, and a collaborative Converse One Star back in 2018.

Although Lean is less of a mainstream name than he once was, his fronting of the CHIMI x Koenigsegg collection makes perfect sense, given the trio's joined Swedish heritage.

The collection itself, dubbed FORCA-G, is a racing-inspired line-up that combines CHIMI's masterful understanding of eyewear with its newly introduced apparel offering, resulting in a balanced two-piece offering.

First is an alloy fiber racing jacket constructed using the same materials used in the construction of Koenigsegg's Agera RS, the world's fastest homologated production car. The resulting finish is a bold statement maker that almost feels plucked from the visual treatment of "Kyoto."

Completing the collaboration is a pair of titanium sunglasses with dark lenses – a true classic in the sunglass category.

The CHIMI x Koenigsegg is available to shop in full online now.
