Next March, Wes Anderson will be delivering his first stop-motion feature since 2009's Fantastic Mr. Fox. Isle of Dogs in turn tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, a 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi.
Centering around a group of dogs who live on a remote island — due to an executive decree stating that all canine pets of Megasaki City must be exiled to a garbage dump known as Trash Island — Atari then ultimately finds himself in search of his lost pup, Spots. Once coming in contact with the dogs of Trash Island, the gang then sets out on an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Liev Schreiber and Yoko Ono, among many others, star in Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs, which is due in theaters March 23 of next year.
