Jack Harlow finally has his own New Balance sneaker. A long time coming for the Kentucky rapper, who's repped New Balance for a couple years now.

The 26-year-old rapper, who’s been seen wearing New Balance shoes as elderly as the 2002r and contemporary as the 500, posted an enigmatic Instagram post on May 5 that offered the very first taste of Harlow’s own New Balance 1906R sneaker, a chunky shoe as massively popular as Harlow himself.

Harlow goes hard for his first New Balance shoe, dressing the 1906R in stunning pink florals and lush velour, somewhat nostalgic details that remind you of a day at grandma's crib. Harlow's New Balance 1906R sneaker leaked before his preview, but it was unknown then that the pink elderly creation was a Harlow collab. Nonetheless, we're not mad at the flowery results.

There is no bigger (or better) New Balance sneaker to get the Harlow stamp of approval.

Harlow’s affiliation with New Balance started in early 2022 after he was added to the Boston brand’s roster as an official ambassador.

“I have been rocking New Balance since I was a kid, so to officially join the brand in this way is really exciting,” Harlow said in a press release at the time. “I’m excited to peek behind the curtain and work with the brand more.”

Earlier this year, Harlow fronted a campaign as a part of New Balance’s "We Got Now" campaign, which captured Harlow and his friends in full New Balance gear as they strolled Harlow's hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

Harlow previously starred in a New Balance commercial alongside Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, who also has his own line of NB basketball sneakers.

So Harlow has worked with New Balance in some capacity for a number of years now, clearly.

But a shoe of Harlow's own design? That's new (balance).

It's a worthy pairing, as well, what with Harlow still far from peaking and New Balance's classic tech-y runner still demonstrating its own capability to surprise.

The taste that Harlow offered of his forthcoming NB 1906 collab will have to tide fans over for now as it's now slated to drop until Fall 2024.

But if his own personal footwear style is anything to go by — a rotation that ranges from ultra-normal kicks to the world's rarest shoes — the resulting sneaker won’t disappoint.
