Jordan Peele's fans have been trawling his latest cinematic offering, Us, for hidden easter eggs, but there's a super subtle one they might have missed. In an interview with Fandango, the director revealed he made cameos in both Us and Get Out films.

Rather than following in the footsteps of directors like Hitchcock or Tarantino, who make onscreen appearances, Peele chose to make sonic cameos. It turns out that in his 2017 directorial debut he voiced the part of a “dying rabbit.” More recently, in Us, you can hear him in the role of “injured deer.” Not exactly breakout roles.

Watch the video to hear Peele expand on the film's treatment of trauma and more of the hidden meaning you might have missed the first time around.
