It's a good day when Patek Philippe releases a new watch. But it's downright extraordinary when the Swiss watchmaker drops seven (!) new iterations of one of its hottest models, the beloved Aquanaut.

Today, Patek Philippe introduces updates to the classic timepiece and a horological favorite. The surprising lineup encompasses seven new colorways, including the first white-gold chronograph in the men’s collection, three new stainless-steel Aquanaut Luce models with new colors, and larger case sizes — up from 35.6 to 38.8 mm, and the collection’s first dual time zone watch.

Notably, the 42.2mm Aquanaut Chronograph gets a whole new look this year. This impressive chronograph was first released in 2018 and has existed ever since in stainless steel. Now the watchmaker elevates the sporty timepiece with two new luxe white-gold cases. But it's the case's pairing with blue-black gradient and khaki green dials that really made our hearts sing.

Despite the luxurious makeover, the Chronograph maintains its stealth. The 42.2mm x 11.9mm white gold case with screw-down crown is water resistance to 120 meters. It features a power reserve of 45 to 55 hours and the automatic caliber CH 28-520 C movement comes with a rare flyback function. The dial is marked by luminescent hands, numerals, and markers.

With so much to offer, it's hard to choose between the blue-black gradient embossed Aquanaut dial with midnight blue composite strap and the khaki green embossed dial with matching strap. Well, before you make that choice, you might want to check your budget as the watch will set you back a casual $69,194.
