While fans eagerly wait for Black Panther to hit screens, Sony has unveiled the official poster for upcoming supervillain film Venom. Starring Tom Hardy as lead character Eddie Brock, the highly anticipated feature is due to come out this October.

To drum up some excitement for the fall release, official social media accounts have unleashed the new and unnerving theatrical poster. The all-black image features Venom's slanted eyes, perhaps the most notable characteristic of the symbiote aside from its fangs.

In addition to sharing the poster, accounts also bear the caption “Tomorrow," which has since been confirmed to mean the release of the film's first official trailer. For a closer look at the poster in question, check it out below.

Venom is scheduled for release on October 5, 2018.
