Martin Margiela may not have invented the Tabi, but he certainly perfected the intriguing design over the years, implementing the polarizing split toe on various footwear silhouettes. Here, we find the cleft-toe shape applied to a pair of knee-high boots as a part of Maison Margiela’s latest seasonal collection. Crafted from 100% nappa leather, the boot arrives in a black and white scheme with the house’s iconic stitch mark applied to the back. Zip closure on the medial side of each shoe allows for easy on and off, as the silhouette is made complete with a cylindrical heel.
