The brainchild of stylist turned designer Andreas Aresti, Lourdes is a New York-based label offering hybridized, unisex styles to the curious consumer. The brand, which is named after Aresti’s mother — a first-generation immigrant from Peru — largely draws inspiration from women and the city it calls home, exploring various cultural references with each passing collection. One of Lourdes’ most distinctive styles, the Backless Jacket boasts an intriguing cut-out at the back for anyone wanting to show a little skin, or at the very least, increase airflow. The front, however, looks like a standard jacket, complete with concealed zip closure and welt pockets at the waist. We guess you could say this one is all business in the front and party in the back.
