Arriving in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Levi’s, the 1937 “Japan” 501 commemorates the brand’s historic shrink-to-fit fabrics being produced in Japan. Just 501 pairs of this limited edition style have been manufactured, each hand-numbered and marked with archival details translated into Japanese, including the back leather patch, Red Tab, rivets, and stamping on the buttons. Made in Japan from Japanese selvedge denim, the jeans emerge in a dark indigo color with a flat finish, designed to age beautifully over time and form a fit that is unique to the wearer.
