Chadwick Boseman has been tapped to star in Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo's new action film, 21 Bridges. Today we get our first look at the upcoming picture, which also features J.K. Simmons, Taylor Kitsch, Sienna Miller, Stephan James, and Keith David.

In 21 Bridges, Boseman portrays an embattled NYPD detective who lost his father while he was on duty with the force. Now, he is brought in to lead a manhunt for two cop killers on the loose in Manhattan. After deciding to shut down all exits from the island, the detective begins to uncover an expected conspiracy leaving him confused about who he is pursuing and who is pursuing him.

While the Russo brothers produce, Brian Kirk directs 21 Bridges, which is due out in theaters July 12.
