Moncler Heads Back to the ’60s With 3 MONCLER GRENOBLE Collection
Luxury outerwear label Moncler has unveiled the latest installment of its ongoing "Genius" project, which has seen the stories brand issue special collections with designers like Palm Angels, Simone Rocha and Craig Green.
Now, the brand has unveiled 3 MONCLER GRENOBLE, a collection that plays with ’60s motifs, playful patterns, florals and head-turning color combos. Designer Sandro Mandrino has reworked Moncler's trademark luxury skiwear by clashing astrakhan patterns and tartans with glossy nylon shells and rugged accessories.
The result is a collection of bold and head-turning statement slope-gear, in a similar fashion to the 2 MONCLER 1952 installment of the Genius project, which was unveiled back in September. Or, in the press release's words, "a quirky mix ‘n match energy."
3 MONCLER GRENOBLE launches on November 1 via Moncler boutiques and moncler.com. The line will then be available for 5 days exclusively on mytheresa.com, with a broader release following on November 6.
