adidas has sneakers from all around the world, even models named after islands. But the Italia is special. Designed for the 1960 Olympics, its sleek design went beyond the games. It celebrates Italian craftsmanship while maintaining adidas' sporty edge, resulting in this easy, well-made Italian sneaker.

It was basically born to shine. And years later, it still does. Literally.

adidas has introduced a new Italia 60s sneaker, dressed in bold yellow leather and navy blue Stripes. It also features its signature suede toe with the rubber cap, all washed in a golden yellow color.

It's worth pointing out that this is the Italia 60s sneaker, not the Italia 70s. The Italia 60s features a heel flap, which gives it a sportier look. The Italia 70s is a bit more refined, having been stripped down to the basics, no frills.

What do they have in common? Style. adidas' Italia models are almost always rotation-ready, thanks to their effortless colorways and fashionable makeovers. The Italia 70s has appeared in nice denim looks, whereas the Italia 60s has looked as delicious as tiramisu.

But for those in the mood for a classic, sunny-side-up Italia shoe, the yellow sneakers are now available on adidas' website for $130.
