Brand: AïE

Season: FW19

Key Pieces: NEPENTHES’ AïE are masters of playful patterning but the vibrant paisley print reaches new heights this season. The oversized teardrop motif is splashed across slouchy pants, as well as button-down and zip-up jackets.

Buy: nepenthes.jp and all brick-and-mortar NEPENTHES locations.

Editor’s Notes: Kenta Miyamoto, formerly of Engineered Garments, delivers an SS20 collection for AïE that's lively enough to get you through the darker months. As always Arts in Education comes through with a plethora of unconventional patterns brought together with the label's renowned craftsmanship.

SS20 sees the return of the kind of slouchy silhouettes we have comes to associate with the NEPENTHES’ mainstay. Denim washes make a strong showing,  across a-symmetrical jackets, paneled pants, and hooded jackets.

As in previous collections, unorthodox patterned layering is supremely successful. Geometric patterns encounter summery, floral prints and more conventional fabrics and colors seamlessly to elevate classic workwear silhouettes.
