Ahead of tomorrow's New Year's Eve festivities, we get an official look at an upcoming iteration of the Air Jordan 1 that seemingly draws inspiration from 1970s nightlife. The "Disco Ball" colorway is designed to mimic just that, a disco ball, with its eye-catching mirrored squared-cut upper.

The mid-top Jordan 1 is branded with metallic leather Swooshes, the Air Jordan Wings logo, "Nike Air" embroidery on the mesh tongue, and an Oscar-like Nike trophy on the velvet-printed insole, which could very well reference the upcoming Academy Awards taking place February 9. The sneaker also incorporates a white midsole and black rubber outsole, and comes with silver laces.

Nike has yet to announce release information for the dazzling "Disco Ball" Air Jordan 1, but expect a launch in the coming months. We'll be sure to keep this post updated with new information as it arrives.
