All roads lead to a rundown hotel at Lake Tahoe, where seven strangers harboring seven secrets face one hellish night together — and we'll all be facing them too when Bad Times at the El Royale hits theaters this October. Watch the new trailer above.

Per the official synopsis, each of the seven strangers is someone with a need to repent: Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski) stars as Father Daniel Flynn, a former criminal turned priest; Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is cult leader Billy Lee; Jon Hamm (Mad Men) plays vacuum cleaner salesman Laramie Seymour Sullivan; and Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades franchise) lines up as Southern gangster Emily Summerspring.

The 20th Century Fox project is helmed by The Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goddard, who started out as a writer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and bagged an Oscar nomination for his The Martian screenplay.

Bad Times at the El Royal hits theaters October 12. Are you hyped for the movie? Let us know in the comments.

Now meet Marci Rodgers, Spike Lee's go-to costume designer.
