'Ball Boyz' Break Down the NBA City Edition Uniforms
On the latest episode of Ball Boyz, co-hosts Kyle Hodge and Ian Servantes take a deep dive into the new collection of NBA city edition jerseys. The 2018-19 uniforms take inspiration from the history and culture of each team’s city on every design.
For example, the Brooklyn Nets jersey takes inspiration from Notorious B.I.G. and his love for coogi sweaters, while the Minnesota Timberwolves honor the late Prince and his classic Purple Rain album. Kyle and Ian swipe through the collection and choose which jerseys are worthy of a cop and which are not.
For our weekly segment of "Kick Watch", O.G. of the league, Vince Carter brought back the Nike Shox BB4's, Juju Smith-Schuster proved he's Chipotle's biggest fan by rocking custom burrito cleats, and Spencer Dinwiddie rocks some very questionable Colin Kaepernick-inspired custom sneakers.
Also, True Religion and Manchester United have teamed up for a premium co-branded denim wear for men and women. Mixing the brand's quality and craftsmanship with the futbol's club legacy is a must cop for any fan. The exclusive collection features jeans, shirts and jackets, including a highly desirable limited-edition denim jacket embroidered with the club’s crest. The collection is out now and available at TrueReligion.com. A junior range will launch later this season.
