Things aren't always as they seem in the Bottega Veneta universe, from paper bags that aren't paper to leather jeans. Now, the label's got totes that look like bubble wrap handbags — but that's not the case, of course.

Bottega Veneta dropped a large-sized, transparent Cabat bag, which, quite frankly, looks very pop-able — only from a distance, though.

Up close, you'll notice that the Bottega Cabat isn't bubble wrap. Instead, the tote bag features the label's classic woven intreccio concept in clear silicone (versus the usual leather intreccio as seen on that $1K dinosaur).

Synthetic bubble wrap vibes aside, Bottega Veneta doesn't veer too far from its renowned craftsmanship and leather mastery. The clear Cabat also comes is complete with lambskin handles as well as an additional leather pouch finished with brass hardware finishes.

Bottega's (sort of) twofer doesn't come cheap. The large clear Cabat costs almost $10K ($9,900 to be exact), and is currently up for grabs on Bottega Veneta's website for the fashion folk who can spare it.

Again, things aren't always how they look in Bottega land — the brand lives for a well-crafted fashion trick. A$AP Rocky can vouch.
