Named after the children's toy, the Burberry Rocking Horse bag is a nod to the new and the nostalgic. A curved satchel, reminiscent of a saddle, and straps that were modeled after reins, the British luxury brand's new accessory leans heavily on its equestrian expertise.

Atop mono-colored leather, the iconic checker print, or a wool silk canvas, the mini or medium sized bag's lynchpin is a clasp in the shape of a lower case 'b' – a subtle but immediately identifiable detail that conjoins heritage elements with a modern reinterpretation of the fashion house's codes. The ring pivots in and out of the column-shaped closure, to securely fasten and seal one's belongings within the bag.

The hardware runs in the family, as the Rocking Horse range's common denominator, found on everything from smaller goods like wallets and belts, to travel-sized totes.

Same goes for the Equestrian Knight Design, which is embossed on the back of each piece – and also adorns some of our favorite items from their summer collection.

If you're in search of a summer crossbody, an airport-hopper's go-to underseat accessory, or merely something to keep your pants in place, then Burberry's Rocking Horse line's where you need to look.
