Mother's Day is one of those rare moments that briefly unites social media platfroms in uniquely positive content. This year was no exception, with everyone from A$AP Rocky  and 2 Chainz to Jonah Hill and Kim Kardashian taking to Instagram to earn some maternal brownie points.

Some celebs kept it short and sweet, while others showered their mothers with paragraphs of praise. A couple even used the opportunity to publicly apologize for all the drama they had put their moms through in their younger years. One thing is for sure, there was a lot of love and appreciation on our feeds this weekend.

Take a look at how your favorite artists, athletes, and actors toasted their mothers this year.
