The episode was hosted by SNL veteran Jennifer Lopez. DaBaby kicked things off with a performance of his banger "Bop," turning out the SNL stage with a dance crew and appearance from the JabbaWockeeZ. Following his SNL performance in New York, the Charlotte rapper was set to perform in his hometown, but had to miss the show because his jet broke down. DaBaby found an unorthodox way to make it up to his fans: performing through FaceTime.
