Approximately 100 socially distanced audience members witnessed an all-star comedy lineup when Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock FaceTimed Jim Carrey during their set in Ohio, as part of the ongoing summer series, “Dave Chappelle & Friends: A Talk with Punchlines.”

Images from Chappelle's invite-only, socially distanced, standup-event were largely kept under wraps but Chris Rock broke the embargo, sharing two pictures from the secretive event on Instagram yesterday.

"So I went to Ohio and did a Covid tested show with Dave and Jim Carrey on FaceTime .Crazy year indeed. Jim closed the show. It’s been a horrible year but this as definitely a bright spot."

The "bright spot" may have referred to Jim Carrey's cameo, captured in the second slide. While intel is relatively scarce, it appears Chappelle and Rock cold-called Carrey towards the end of the set, and the comedy veteran answered and went on to close the show.
