Double Tap to Zoom

Few rappers in the game are serving tried and true South London realness quite like DC. He spent 2017 cutting his teeth by supporting J Hus on the latter's 'Common Sense' tour, but he's set to make the year ahead entirely his own. Along with the freshly unveiled mixtape Under the Influence, DC is premiering an immersive visual for the track "Hustla" right here on Highsnobiety. Take a look below.

Speaking on the visual, DC told Highsnobiety in an email that “the aim of the 'Hustla' video was to almost redefine the meaning of the word. When we say hustla, the first thing that comes to mind will most probably be a gangster. Whereas in my mind, the first thing that comes to mind when I think of a hustla is my mother. Hence why we decided to go with strong images of black females, as they’ve had a strong influence on my life.”
