Double Tap to Zoom

Drake's hitting the road for the first time in a while, taking over a host of major American cities with his "It's All a Blur" tour. Surely, there won't be too many surprises, right? Just Drake's typical mopey rap songs and danceable singles... is that a giant flying sperm?

On the first night of Drake's tour in Chicago, Drizzy dazzled the crowd with a few impressive holographic accents, which added flair to the otherwise solo performance.

At points, Drake was joined by Scream's murderous Ghostface, an enormous Virgil Abloh (remember the Air Drake jet?), and a gargantuan UFO, but by far the most bizarre surprise guest to accompany Drake was a lurid, flying sperm cell.

Pretty gross! But also, that's Drake for you: unabashedly OTT enough to put out a "poetry" book of horny Instagram captions and consider talking about his penis in an album title.

Speaking of the album now known as For All the Dogs, Drake teased some themes from the unreleased LP while on tour but mostly focused on the hits.

You got "Marvin's Room," "HYFR," "God's Plan," and "Way 2 Sexy," for instance, plus some relatively deeper cuts, like "Controlla" and "Headlines."

It was a sprawling set, encompassing over four dozen tracks across a couple hours of full-frontal Drake.

Drake's show was produced by some names familiar to Drake heads, like longtime producer 40 and BNYX, the latter of whom is reportedly working on "For All the Dogs," but also features the talents of DJ Kabza De Small, a South African producer best known for his work in the emerging amiapiano house subgenre.

Perhaps Kabza was an influence on Drake's 2022 dance record, "Honestly, Nevermind" and Drake's paying back the favor, but that's just speculation. Drake could merely just be a fan.

Drake also got his fingernails painted pink before his tour which set off a laughable round of outrage from the shockingly sensitive manosphere, including alleged human trafficker and Neanderthal "influencer" Andrew Tate.

There are plenty of questionable Drake moments to mock but getting heated about dudes painting their nails? Please. It's [current year] and a dude getting his nails done ought to be as controversial as getting a haircut.

Plus, if anyone doubts Drake's virility, he's more than happy to remind you of it. Just look at the giant sperm flying overhead for proof.
