These 'Fits Won the Spirit Awards
Award season is in full swing, moving right along with the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards (the Oscars is next up).
The 38th annual award ceremony celebrating — as the name implies — independent filmmaking saw plenty of big wins (Everything Everywhere All at Once swept again) on the stage and the red carpet.
Indeed, the night naturally kicked off with celebrity arrivals on the ceremony's blue carpet, which showcased plenty of solid 'fits from actors like Taylor Russell and Ke Huy Quan.
So, we're cordially inviting you to join us in relishing in the evening's best ensembles. See you below.
Taylor Russell
Bleached brows and wrapped like a gift in Loewe? Taylor Russell's style supremacy advances with another hit.
Mia Goth
The '98 John Galliano selection for Goth was a slay, I fear.
Taylour Paige
Taylour Paige took on the blue carpet in Acne's freshly distressed dress from its FW23 runway collection.
Jenny Slate
Simply put, Jenny Slate's Thom Browne suit is 10/10.
Vicky Krieps
Sorry Jamie Lee Curtis, but Vicky Krieps is actually all of us — in a Gucci gown and varsity jacket.
Aubrey Plaza
In Saint Laurent, Aubrey Plaza looks effortlessly good – and strengthens the house's case as a red carpet winner.
Michelle Yeoh
Michelle Yeoh's Gucci dress brought just enough drama and all the elegance. We stan!
Ke Huy Quan
Ke Huy Quan in a plaid Thom Browne suit is just what I needed to get through the week.
Elegance Bratton and Chester Algernal Gordon
From Bratton's silky threads to Gordon's suit jacket, these two delivered one of the coolest style moments of the night.
Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman
Saul Williams (in a Sarah Diouf suit) and Anisia Uzeyman (in a Mizero Cedric dress) understood the assignment, plain and simple.
P.S. swipe for the couple's style moment.
Paul Mescal
Paul Mescal and Gucci continue to a recipe for stylish success.
