[UPDATE 10/18, 10:35]: Talking with TMZ, Floyd Mayweather calls out not one but two UFC fighters for a boxing match. After announcing plans to fight Khabib, the undefeated boxer wants a rematch against Conor McGregor, who he beat by TKO in the 10th round.

He states, “McGregor was talking that shit so it ain’t over,” he said. “After Me and Khabib we lock-up, me and McGregor going to lock-up again.”

His reasons for fighting UFC's biggest stars is because of the huge viewership and payday the crossover fights generate.

He adds, “They say, ‘why you keep fighting all them MMA guys?’ – man listen, me and Khabib going to do crazy numbers, me and McGregor going to do crazy numbers,” he said. “I only clash with guy that can do crazy numbers.”

Are you excited for a Mayweather x McGregor rematch?

[ORIGINAL]: Floyd Mayweather has said he’s ready to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov after the Russian called out the boxer following his UFC 229 victory against Conor McGregor. Mayweather had been pursuing a rematch against Manny Pacquiao, but is ready to meet the challenge laid down by Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov is currently suspended by the UFC pending a hearing this month after a brawl erupted at the end of the McGregor fight. Mayweather has essentially been retired since 2015, although he returned in 2017 for a special, one-off fight against McGregor, whom he defeated in the 10th round.

Speaking to TMZ, Mayweather said, “Oh, we fighting. I'm my own boss. So I can't say what's going on on Khabib's end, but on my end we can make it happen."

When asked if a bout would be in the boxing ring or MMA octagon, Mayweather added, "He called me out, so he gotta come to my world.”

Post-McGregor, Nurmagomedov had said, “Hey, let’s go, Floyd. We have to fight now; 50-0 vs. 27-0, two guys never lose. Let’s go. Why not? Because in the jungle, only one king. Only one king. Of course, I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor but I drop him easily. Let’s go!”

Mayweather, however, doesn’t seem as impressed with the Russian’s win against McGregor as most. In the TMZ video, Mayweather says, “When he hit Conor McGregor, he knocked Conor McGregor down. He said I didn't knock McGregor down. Khabib, you got my leftovers, whoopy-do.”

As always, stay tuned for more information as it comes.
