Highsnobiety

If it was even a question (punctuated by the GUESS Jeans question mark) just know that the iconic denim brand knows how to throw a party. Honestly, can we even call it a party? GUESS Jeans complemented the jam-packed festivities of Coachella’s first weekend, trading the polo field for a compound. Yes, that’s right, an entire oasis consisting of ten houses fitted out with the finest marble, personal chefs, and lukewarm plunge pools.

Four decades of pioneering stone-washed garments must amount to something. For GUESS Jeans, the ‘something’ means kicking off and shutting down Coachella weekend one, throwing rocking parties on the doorstep of the festival (literally a stone's throw away). In attendance are the brand's nearest and dearest, friends and family, from Justin Bieber to Robert Pattinson, along with those residing on-site at the GUESS Jeans compound—Ice Spice, Lila Moss, Lil Baby, J Balvin and more.

Last Friday, or the better part of Saturday morning—the spirits were high and the Casamigos were flowing. At the estate's gated entrance, a golf cart awaited the arrival of all. A sort of door-to-door service, if you will. Attendees were escorted up the compound's blue-lit, palm tree-lined driveway in style via personal chauffeur. Think college rager, but a chicer, more elevated rendition. An obligatory picture in front of the giant GUESS Jeans button was snapped before entry was granted through the garage. House Party 101, the living room was converted into a dance floor, the backyard patio into a makeshift lounge filled with eggshell-hued leather couches.

Stiletto heels of knee-high boots pierce down on the Carrara stone countertops of what was once a kitchen island but somehow became a makeshift stage. A-listers, TikTokers, and the YouTubers mingled while ordering 'Denim Cowgirl' cocktails from the bar. Actress Emma Roberts stunned in a baby-pink gingham dress, flower cowboy boots, and a black hoodie, with a cigarette tucked behind her ear. To the left stood Hailey Bieber, disguised by a bonnet, the dead giveaway—her Rhode phone case, of course.

The evening's soundtrack was spinned by Kaytranada, followed by Anderson .Paak under the alias DJ Peewee. With every good house party, comes the noise complaints. But if all your neighbors are on the dance floor, who's making the complaints?

Then, Sunday rolled around and it was time to do it all again. The task at hand—shutting down Coachella, with the help of the XO Family, and a surprise cameo from Metro Boomin. If the bodies on the dance floor weren't enough of an approval of Boomin's set, the screams that erupted when the Sexyy Red led-track "Rich Baby Daddy" echoed through the speakers definitely did the trick.

And in the moments where GUESS Jean's guests weren’t partying they spent that time recovering from the back-to-back raving. A mini wellness retreat, with IV drips by Drip Hydration, B12 shots, HigherDOSE red light therapy, and a detox juice to counteract all those tequila shots—because it’s all about balance. Right?
