Every week, we at Highsnobiety take some time to highlight one of our favorite brands through our BOTW (Brand of the Week) series. Last week, we featured a label under Levi’s umbrella, Levi’s Made & Crafted. This week, we've decided to shine a light on London-based label AFFIX WORKS.

Most of you will be familiar with fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov and his eponymous line. Having only recently collaborated with the likes of ASICS and Camper, the Bulgaria-born designer has been taking the fashion world by storm for a hot minute. But, aside from his widely successful collections, Kostadinov can also add a newer and lesser-known project to his portfolio: AFFIX.

Based in London, AFFIX isn't a one-man show — in fact, the label is co-owned by fellow industry insiders such as his Central Saint Martins peer and MACKINTOSH head designer Taro Ray, London-based stylist and creative consultant Stephen Mann, and Gimme Five founder-cum-Stüssy UK Director Michael Kopelman. Surprisingly, the brand came to be as a show on pirate radio station Know-Wave last year, under the name AFFIX WORKS (which you can check out below).

But with such a creative and progressive dream-team, it was inevitable that the radio show would soon turn into a fully-fledged fashion brand. Just like that, AFFIX debuted its first-ever release in January this year, with an exclusive in-store launch at London's Dover Street Market.

Centered around the concept of "New Utility" and rapid prototyping, the brand explores the intersection of pragmatism and modernity. The workwear-heavy debut collection features shirts, sweatshirts, tees, and hats — all featuring bold graphics using a HANDJET® portable printer and showcasing the brand's love for prototyping and progressivity.

Our favorite pieces include essentials such as an all-white long-sleeve tee, logo-printed hoodie, and embroidered cap, as well as the more statement velvet service jackets and six-pocket pants, to be worn together for the ultimate head-turning ’fit. As is to be expected from a brand with creatives of this magnitude at its helm, all pieces champions progressive-manufacturing, clean construction and keen attention to detail.
