Lupe Fiasco to Perform Debut Album 'Food & Liquor' in Full
After releasing a new album Dragon Wave earlier this Fall, Lupe Fiasco surprisingly announces a one-off special concert for his fan-favorite debut record Food & Liquor.
According to Pitchfork, the Chicago rapper will be performing the entire album at the Novo in Los Angeles on February 23, 2019. The show will also feature a few guest appearances including Gemstones and Matthew Santos, who song the hook on Fiasco's hit single "Superstar."
“The fans have been asking for it for a long time and the time finally felt right,” Lupe Fiasco said in a statement. “This album speaks to a really interesting, but special time in my career and it’s cool to be able to share that in a new way with everyone.”
Hopefully he'll perform The Cool next. Fingers crossed!
