Double Tap to Zoom

The first teaser trailer for season four of Stranger Things has arrived and it gives an idea of how the Russian narrative will play out in the next instalment and delivered the spoiler that has Twitter shook.

Titled "From Russia with love," the 50-second clip doesn't give much away, but we're left under no illusion of setting thanks to the snow-capped landscape, uskanka-hats (the Russian fur cap with tie-up ear-flaps), and the name obviously.

The most exciting aspect of the trailer comes at the end, delivering a close up of Jim Hopper (David Harbour) who, as you can now see, is very much alive. He doesn't look so well though and is likely being kept as a prisoner of war in a top-secret prison in Kamchatka, Russia. Watch the clip below.

Since it dropped, the trailer quickly went viral and has all the Twittersphere talking about the surprising reveal. While we still have a lot of questions left over from the clip — like where did Hopper's moustache go? —, the Stranger Things fandom can't get over the fact that Hopper is alive. Check out some of the emotional reactions below.

HOPPER IS OKAY
