If New Balance made the 530 in 2073, they'd look something like the 5030 sneaker.

Sure, the 5030 runner looks straight from the future, but it also draws inspiration from the brand's past dad shoes. The name alone suggests that the 530 sneaker was on the moodboard (the pre-Miu Miu versions, that is).

Really, it's like the New Balance 2000 meets the 530. Don't you see? 2000 + 530 = 5030. New Balance math.

The 5030, however, may be bigger than both combined. It may even be the biggest New Balance sneaker to date, beating out the 9060 with its extra-large proportions, including beefy soles with generous amounts of ABZORB cushioning.

New Balance's 5030 sneaker offers some nice views up top, too. Its padded upper features wavy lines, some of which may be reflective.

What's more, New Balance has dressed the model in equally stunning colorways, like purple, black, and white/blue. Some are currently available on New Balance's website, while others, like the metallic pairs, are for grabs at select retailers.

The price? Just $120 for the New Balance dad shoe of the future.
