The Nike Air Force 1 sneaker was quite literally born a star, rising to fame on the courts and eventually becoming even bigger as a certified fashion legend. For the model's latest drop, Nike officially crowns the sneaker as a "All-Star" (no Converse associate here).

Nike has unveiled an Air Force 1 Low "All-Star" sneaker, transforming the classic Triple Black design into a literal shining star with metallic details. Specifically, the back of the iconic sneakers gets a glossy metal-like coating, which also swallows up the Swoosh on the sidewall.

But hold on to your laces, 'cause this Air Force 1 sneaker gets better. The All-Star Forces also includes a neat silver star charm atop its smooth wax shoelaces. Additionally, the Air Force 1 boasts these quiet, reflective patterns around the toe, which come to life when light is cast on them in a dark setting.

Nike's newest Forces are inspired by San Francisco, which also goes by the name "Fog City" (it's one of the cloudiest cities in the world!). "With all the stars shining brought through 'Fog City,' this all-star edition of the legendary AF1 is polished up and poised to shoot its shot," reads Nike's description on the SNKRS app.

Moreover, all eyes will be on San Francisco in February as the home of the Golden State Warriors hosts NBA All-Star Weekend. Ah, I see what you did there, Nike.

Speaking of the brand's launch app, the Nike Air Force 1 Low sneaker will officially drop on Nike's SNKRS app on January 16, just in time to prep those All-Star Weekend 'fits.

We've already been blessed with great Forces like the exquisite Light Army pairs and the glossy AF1s with the rope laces. And with skate-able Forces and highly-anticipated collaborations on the horizon, Nike is starting the year off on the right, well, force foot.
