Editor’s Notes: Italian label Numero 00 has been steadily infiltrating Italy's streetwear scene since it was founded by designer Valerio Farina back in 2010. For Spring/Summer 2019, the brand is further making the case for Italian athleticwear by teaming up with iconic sportswear label LOTTO on a capsule collection of apparel and footwear.

Drawing inspiration from two sources close to many Italians' hearts — football and the sea — the collection honors Lotto’s athletic background in its wide offering of staple sportswear silhouettes, while integrating Numero 00's elevated approach to streetwear through, for example, pinstripe detailing and unexpected logo placements.

Designed and made in Italy, the collection encompasses a thermosensitive jacket and pant (as featured in the video above) alongside lightweight jackets, hoodies, joggers, t-shirts, and a leather pair of kicks available in two colorways. The color palette is dominated by three shades: red and black, LOTTO’s and Numero 00’s core colors respectively, as well as blue, which was purposefully chosen by Farina to recall the Mediterranean.
