Kris Jenner's Latest Project: Getting Pete Davidson an H&M Campaign
As the old adage goes: the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder.
Between standing off with Blac Chyna in court and running her own church (which may or may not be a tax write-off), momager supreme found time to extend a hand to Pete Davidson, the newest member of her clan.
The fruits of her labor have culminated in the SNL comedian landing his first major fashion campaign since becoming Kim Kardashian's Boyfriend. This just in: Davidson is an H&M muse!
Folks, it's another baffling win for fast fashion, a sector that has managed to recruit a slew of big-name celebrities for campaigns, partnerships, and event appearances (take SHEIN's Coachella purgatory, for example) despite its less-than-sparkling reputation.
"It was great working together on this campaign," Davidson helpfully elaborated in a press release. "We had a lot of fun filming. The styles are comfortable and feel good, which is what I love about H&M."
While H&M is Davidson's first Kim-era campaign, the funnyman isn't entirely new to the world of fashion. In 2019, he walked Alexander Wang's Spring/Summer 2020 show, and later starred in the collection's campaign (keep in mind — this was before Wang was accused of sexual assault by multiple men, though his girlfriend remains a staunch supporter of the designer to this day).
And last October, Davidson appeared alongside fellow comedian Ziwe in a Rowing Blazers advertisement. A month prior, he even snagged his first Met Gala invite courtesy of Thom Browne, who dressed the 28-year-old in a blazer and tunic.
With the Gala less than a week away, I can't help but wonder: will Davidson pull up to the red carpet in an H&M suit? (Believe it or not, it's happened before.)
