PUMA's New Super Runner Is Pretty Insane
2024 continues to be a great year for PUMA, from highly-anticipated linkups with A$AP Rocky to the unearthing of arguably its wildest sneaker. Things are only heating up in the land of leaping felines.
Direct your attention to the runner department and feast thine eyes on PUMA's latest shoe. The FAST-RB Nitro Elite model surfaced in early April, and it's surprising that more people aren't buzzing about its insane design (and when I say insane, I mean it in the most intriguing way).
Let's get straight to the point: the PUMA sneaker is completely airborne — well, on the heels. Technically, the runner's backside is still there — as evidenced by the seriously stacked lift — but it's not touching the ground at all.
The rest of the sneaker's base is very much grounded but certainly isn't lacking in eye-catching details. Similar rippled chunks meet carved cutouts elsewhere on the base for a pretty cool overall setup, assumably supplying a swifter ride.
Interestingly, the PUMA sneaker is pumped with the brand's Nitro Elite, a lightweight, cushy technology often used in the label's racing shoes. And by the way, most Nitro Elite racers typically have pretty thick soles like the latest.
Some PUMA Nitro Elite sneakers are more head-turning than others. One in particular that comes to mind is the FAST-R series, distinguished by their shapely soles and equally stunning upper designs. The most recent FAST-R NITRO™ Elite 2 shoe is quite the stunner, featuring a semi-pointed toe and those distinct bottoms.
The latest PUMA sneaker marks the next step in the FAST-R collection (I mean, it is named the FAST-RB Nitro Elite). Regardless of when PUMA decides to unleash the heel-less racing shoe, it's forever ready for takeoff, that's for sure.
