Jamie Bell Is a Neo-Nazi-Turned-Informant in First Trailer for A24's 'Skin'
Today A24 shares the trailer for Oscar winner Guy Nattiv's English-language feature debut, Skin. Starring Jamie Bell, the movie is based on the true story of Bryon Widner, a former Neo-Nazi who renounced his white supremacist group and chose to remove his tattoos.
In Skin, we see Bell's Bryon Widner joining a gang of white supremacists following a difficult childhood. After a while, however, Bryon decides that the Neo-Nazi life is no longer for him, and he wants to rectify the evil that he's been a part of. This ultimately leads Widner to becoming an informant for law enforcement.
Danielle Macdonald stars alongside Bell, portraying Bryon's girlfriend and a single mother of three. Rounding out the cast are Luke Cage's Mike Colter, Bill Camp, and Vera Farmiga.
Rivaling the Edward Norton-starring American History X from 1998, Guy Nattiv's Skin releases exclusively on DIRECTV on June 27, before hitting theaters on July 26.
