Notorious legwear innovator ITEM m6 has announced a new capsule collection that combines its latest technology to support active lifestyles and performance. The brand enlisted the legendary Berlin doorman Sven Marquardt to shoot the collection's gritty campaign.

ITEM m6 Black is a capsule collection utilizing the brand’s innovative knitting technology and material blend. Four styles serve four purposes; travel, work, play and play hard. They each use sophisticated compression yarns to improve blood flow and circulation, and high-performance fibers that adapt to legs for the perfect fit. These materials are also skin-friendly and breathable, using techniques similar to premium sportswear that manages heat and moisture.

ITEM m6 is for those who value quality and functionality when it comes to performance and activewear. medi, the compression specialist behind the brand, has been perfecting knitting technology since 1951. With ITEM m6 its focus is revolutionizing stocking and shapewear using medi’s renowned "medi compression" tech as the foundation.

During the mid-‘80s—before gaining notoriety as a formidable Berlin bouncer—Sven Marquardt was a key figure in East Berlin's burgeoning Prenzlauer Berg punk, new wave and art movements. Having honed his photography skills during this time, Marquardt turns his lens towards a very different scene in shooting this campaign; however, his exclusive use of analog cameras and natural light continue to characterize his work. His ability to shoot challenging perspectives and evocative contrasts lend perfectly to the collection, allowing him to capture the essence of the range in a bold and unconventional photo shoot.

The collection is available to shop online now, visit the link below for more information.
