Here's What You Can Still Buy From UNDERCOVER’s Newly-Opened Online Shop
It's almost unimaginable in this day and age to have any sort of imprint on urban culture and fashion without an online retail presence. But Jun Takahashi's UNDERCOVER managed to do just that. Now, 29 years in, the Japanese powerhouse has launched its first official online store. UNDERCOVER opened its virtual doors to the public on July 27, making all mens and womenswear lines available for international purchase. In addition to this, the brand launched its Fall/Winter 2019 collection as well as a batch of limited edition T-shirts, available exclusively online.
In honor of this monumental step, we had a look at store.undercoverism.com. While stock has (unsurprisingly) been selling out fast, we've rounded up some of the stand-out pieces you can still shop now. Whether you're looking to add a certain cult movie to your wardrobe repertoire, want to flex a rare Valentino gem or seem more cultured with a Beethoven tee, we've got you covered. Get to shopping while you still can!

UNDERCOVER UCX4204-1
For FW19, UNDERCOVER took inspiration from Stanley Kubrick’s seminal movie A Clockwork Orange. The collection is striking in its shock-value, as it depicts some of the film’s most visceral scenes sprawled across a selection of garments. This particular jacket features a still of the movie’s protagonist, Alex, as he endures a behavior modification technique.
UNDERCOVER UCX4204-2
Made in collaboration with Italian fashion house, Valentino, UNDERCOVER released its take on the tried-and-true design of the humble coach’s jacket. Expertly blending couture and streetwear, this co-branded piece features an extraterrestrial all-over print, and promises to add a touch of much-needed madness to the most conservative of outfits.
UNDERCOVER UCX4893-4
Nothing says, “effortless style,” like a simple graphic hoody. For the upcoming Fall/Winter season, UNDERCOVER reveals a thick cotton iteration in a deep maroon colorway with A Clockwork Orange printed in contrasting white over the chest.
UNDERCOVER UCX4805-1
Continuing to display scenes from Alex’s more unsavory moments, this turtleneck sweater features a paneled torso, slip pockets, ribbed cuffs, and a photographic print over the chest. This particular design is considerably more bold than its collection counterparts, and serves as an interesting departure from an otherwise classy silhouette.
UNDERCOVER UCX4404
This simple button-down shirt promises to be a great wardrobe staple, easily paired with both formal and casual looks. Giving a nod to Kubrick’s classic, the piece features the movie’s title emblazoned over the chest, and is still available in white and black.
UNDERCOVER UCX3801
UNDERCOVER is known for producing some of the best graphic T-shirts out there, with references being pulled from far and wide. For this particular iteration, a portrait of the German composer and pianist, Ludwig van Beethoven, is seen printed across the chest of the design.
UNDERCOVER UCX3802
One of UNDERCOVER’s more recognizable graphic embellishments, the underlined “U,” serves as the outline for a seemingly demonic scene. Jun Takahashi’s affinity for fiction, and that which “lies beyond,” is prevalent in this particular design. Paired with a simple pair of pants, this T-shirt will elevate the most basic of outfits.
UNDERCOVER UCX4B01-4
A good, reliable backpack is one of the founding elements of any acceptable wardrobe. Jun Takahashi’s take on the silhouette features a crazed image of Alex from A Clockwork Orange, as he menacingly takes to the wheel of a car. The design’s maroon hue serves well to compliment certain elements from the chosen scene.
UNDERCOVER UCX4B04-3
This over-shoulder pouch is as practical as it is stylish, easily paired with just about any outfit. This staple release features a lightweight, sport-like fabric construction, and an embroidered rose over the design’s bottom left corner. The rose insignia appears to be a continued theme for FW19, also appearing on the Beethoven T-shirt above.
