Swedish audio brand Urbanista has been taking the wireless earphone market by storm since it was founded in 2010. Over the last five years, it has recorded a massive 1000% increase in revenues thanks to its sleek designs that merge high-quality sound and maximum comfort with clean, Scandinavian aesthetics.

“Our products are rooted in Scandinavian tradition and inspired by music, arts, fashion, and urban culture,” explains Tuomas Lonka, Urbanista’s brand and marketing director. “ We believe that lifestyle audio products should not only sound great but also look good.”

Under the tagline ‘Designed for Life in Motion’, Urbanista’s products are inspired by and designed for urban living. As such, each product is named after a global city, and the newest addition pays tribute to the British capital.  Urbanista London is their most advanced in-ear headphone yet, packed with technology that will cater to the needs of any city-dwelling audiophile’s life on the go.

“We named the product after London as it’s a vibrant city full of contrasting spaces, from the bustling streets to the peaceful parks. We see the city in itself as a place that reflects sound and silence, which is also the creative concept for the product's launch campaign,” says Lonka.

The concept of sound and silence reflects the earphone's two key features: Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient Sound Mode. The former allows you to silence out the noise around you at the press of a button, while the ambient sound setting enhances external voices without interrupting your music or podcast, so you can listen and stay in tune with your surrounding.

Offering five hours of listening on one charge (and an additional four charges in the case), the earbuds also feature voice recognition and built-in ear detection technology, so they will pause when they detect that you’ve taken one bud out of your ear, and stop playing completely when both are taken out.

When it comes to appearances, the London earbuds don't disappoint either. In keeping with the sleek Scandinavian design aesthetic, they boast a clean design and customizable, ergonomic silicone buds for maximum comfort. As if that wasn't enough, the state-of-the-art earphones also feature Bluetooth 5.0 connection, voice activation, and are IPX4 protected, meaning they can even withstand the occasional splash of water.
