Ski goggles aren't just top of the agenda right now because your rich mates are all up on your Insta feeds hitting the slopes — the oversized tinted eyewear has joined sports sunglasses as a huge winter trend. Originating from cycling and sports-geared brands such as Oakley, luxury and streetwear brands alike have been incorporating the sunglasses into their collections, and they've fast become a coveted accessory for the colder months.

The latest fashion brand to adopt the trend is Prada. The Italian luxury fashion house recently dropped its new eyewear collection via Linea Rossa, its relaunched sportswear-infused line. For the initiated, Prada's Linea Rossa first launched in 1997 and fuses the brand's luxury aesthetics with technical fabrics and sporty designs, as well as the now-iconic red line logo, from which the line takes its name ("Linea Rossa" literally translates to "red line" in Italian).

Following its Fall/Winter ’18 relaunch, Prada's Linea Rossa's new eyewear collection includes both eye-catching goggles and sporty sunglasses. The goggles — available in black, gold, red and blue colored lenses — feature large lenses with anti-fog and scratch-proof coating, plus an adjustable elastic band featuring the Linea Rossa logo.

Meanwhile, the sporty sunglasses arrive with irregular-shaped frames and cutouts, giving cycling frames a more contemporary, fashion-forward feel.

The line is exclusively available on Prada's webstore. Click through below if you like what you see.
