Veja’s latest high-top sneaker silhouette, the Minotaur, is imagined with retrofuturistic artistic inspiration for the brand’s collaboration with the city of Berlin. As Berlin is one of the first cities where the Veja project started 17 years ago, the studio designed this particular style as a tribute to one of its favorite European capitals. Symbols of Berlin, including a bear, are incorporated into the design which is executed with a chrome-free calf leather upper. The signature Veja “V” emerges on the sides of the shoe, as Berlin branding appears towards the heel.
