Two icons collide as Maison Margiela and Reebok have come together to deliver the Classic Leather Tabi. Although both originated in the 1980s, Margiela’s Tabi and Reebok’s Classic Leather cater to different clienteles. Here, however, the split-toe shoe and the one-time runner become one in a design that is meant for everyone. To achieve the transformation, the the Classic Leather had to ultimately be rebuilt to accommodate the split-toe of the Tabi. The result is a modern reinterpretation of two of the most recognizable silhouettes in footwear.
The sneaker even comes with a pair of Tabi-ready socks, because the devil's in the details.
