There is hardly anywhere that corona has left untouched by now, but Italy remains one of regions of the world most devastated by its grasp. Milan in particular, a cultural cosmopolis whose output is international in scope, felt the effects of a strictly enforced lockdown which many cities have yet to experience. With "Riders Not Heroes," we can all get a glimpse of the otherworldly atmosphere that gripped the city over the span of those terrifying few weeks.

Inspired by the plight of our new essential workers, creative agencies 2050+ and -orama worked on this short film with rider and artist Lupo Borgonovo. Armed with a GoPro, Borgonovo quite literally became a moving camera, and in doing so, gives us all a much-needed firsthand account of what millions of workers are putting themselves through each day.

Watch an extract of the “New Movers above and see for yourself “how the chains of automation have become an emergency public sphere.”

Are you also "Not In Paris?" Not to worry, you too can join in on the non-gathering with our exclusive set of merch. Shop the collection here.
