The Asian hip-hop and pop collective 88rising hosted its Asia Rising Forever festival last night. The virtual event shone the spotlight on Asia’s top talent and fans around the world are saying it was a huge success.

88rising described the venture as “an online festival celebrating the most exciting Asian talent from around the world.” The festival went down last night in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, which is observed in May — and, according to the collective, over three million viewers tuned in to watch.

Hosted by rapper and actor Dumbfounded, the event featured appearances from Rich Brian, NIKI, Yuna, KANGDANIEL, CLC, Hyukoh, AUDREY NUNA, Beabadoobee, Iñigo Pascual, Stephanie Poetri, 9m88, and others from quarantine. All profits raised during the livestream are going to the nonprofit Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
