88rising is celebrating the upcoming launch of their new album, Head in the Clouds II, by releasing a capsule collection designed by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. The launch follows the release of the first 88rising x Hajime Sorayam collaboration, which debuted at the Head in the Clouds festival in Los Angeles this summer.

Consisting of 11 pieces, the new collection features a photo-negative inversion of Sorayama’s original chrome-plated Fembot works. Apparel is then decorated with 3M reflective details that add both depth and energy to the graphics.

The coinciding campaign for the collaboration (see above) plays on Sorayama’s suggestive gynoid poses, inspired by elements of bondage and layering.

You can pre-order styles from the limited edition 88rising x Hajime Sorayama collection now online. Additional items including outerwear, knitwear, and accessories will release throughout fall.
