A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert are giving back in a major way. Each have announced to donate $50,000 to the UNICEF USA to aid in Hurricane Dorian relief. A Boogie kicked off the charitable cause by launching a CrowdRise fundraiser alongside his donation, while Uzi agreed to match the amount.

"I’m supporting UNICEF USA, an organization that does whatever it takes, because they have the grit and experience it takes to reach the children and families who need us most," says A Boogie on the fundraiser page.

If the crowdfunding reaches its goal, a potential $150,000 will end up being donated. The funds will provide relief for the Bahamian people who survived the Category 5 hurricane, but lost their livelihoods and have been left with little to no water and food.

“The Bahamas need our help, man. You got kids and families left with nothing out there,” A Boogie said in a statement. “We got to show love and support in any way we can to help rebuild that beautiful place. Every little thing helps.”

Right now the amount sits at $50,460 at the time of writing this post. For those looking to contribute to the rappers goal, donate here.
