Not too long ago, wearing Stone Island was reserved solely for football casuals, your dad and his mates, and the Milanese Paninaro (look them up).

But more recently, every man and his dog is getting the sacred badge in, the latest of which being famous long-shorts wearer and actor Adam Sandler.

Chatting to fellow Hollywood star Brendon Fraser on Variety’s 'Actors on Actors' series, Sandler donned a classic black-hooded number which housed the unmistakable Stone Island compass badge on the left arm.

After topping both Google's 2021 and 2022 Year in Search lists for celebrity outfits, Sandler’s newly-found style credentials will likely receive another timely boost thanks to his foray into the world of Massimo Osti, a piece he paired with a signature pattern-heavy polo shirt, pants, and his favorite pair of HOKA kicks.

In truth, it’s been a wild year for Sandler on the style front. Aptly dubbed "The King of Casual Wear" by many, the actor has been spotted on a myriad of occasions sporting looks that might read like a terribly-written book on paper, but make sense worn by him.

His long short ‘fits, for example, would look ridiculous on some people (me, being one), yet the 56 year old manages to pull them off with particular ease. Hell, he even wore a pair of slippers on the red carpet and a velour FILA tracksuit to the premiere of Uncut Gems — the man has no limits.

While a little Stone Island number might be a tad off-brand for Sandler, it’s certainly something we’re keen on seeing more of.

I mean, imagine seeing him rock up to an awards show in one of those Stone Island Naslan Light Watro Down Coats and a pair of his signature HOKAs, that would be great wouldn’t it?
