adidas is collaborating with three emerging sneaker designers for its Campus 80s MakerLab initiative. adidas MakerLab is designed to cultivate creativity through collaboration and exploration. Here, we find Helen Kirkum, Alex Nash, and Shun Hirose of Japanese boutique Recouture reimagining the iconic Campus 80s silhouette. This particular MakerLab project also accounts for the first time creators will be delivering their designs directly to the market through a StockX IPO (initial product offering).

Designers Kirkum, Nash, and Hirose spent 10 days at the adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany as they took advantage of unlimited resources to build their signature prototypes. Following, they then ventured to one of the brand’s factories in Vietnam to oversee the production and packaging of their sneakers.

Available in a limited edition of 333 pairs of each model, the Campus 80s MakerLab sneakers are currently available, again, via a StockX IPO, which allows the buyer to set the retail price. Simply select the particular shoe and size you'd like to bid on, and place a bid for what you'd be willing to pay. StockX will then announce the clearing price and alert the winners when the IPO closes.

Bidding ends today at 21:00 p.m. EDT. For more on the IPO, visit StockX.
