adidas has released a new collection in celebration of the Chinese New Year. To promote the launch, the sportswear brand debuts a coinciding campaign starring various creators, athletes, and celebrities. Led by James Harden and new brand ambassador Liu Yifei, we find the collective gathering for a traditional Tang Dynasty-inspired Chinese banquet.

adidas' Chinese New Year collection draws inspiration from Chinese cultural elements ranging from animals such as the tiger and koi fish, to flowers like the peony and lotus, and various Chinese totems. Specifically, cranes and begonias are showcased on an array of women's clothing, while the lotus and koi fish patterns are highlighted throughout the kid's assortment.

In total, the Chinese New Year garments are decorated with three patterns referencing land, sea, and air, as they are applied across basketball, running, outdoor, and adidas Originals silhouettes.
